Don’t just learn a language.

Get inside the debates locals are actually having.

Pick the latest hot topic, debate it in your language, and get instant feedback. Teviot keeps you up to date while you learn.

Why Teviot?

Stay in the loop, not just in the textbook.

Teviot keeps you connected to the hottest topics and debates happening right now in your language. Not textbook scenarios. Not outdated vocabulary. Real conversations that locals are actually having, so you are always culturally informed, not just linguistically capable.

The science is simple. Using a language beats studying it.

Debating forces you to think, respond and construct arguments in real time. That kind of active immersive practice is what actually builds fluency. Teviot makes it accessible every single day, whenever works for you.

Practice without the pressure of a real person.

Debating in a new language can feel intimidating. Teviot removes that anxiety by letting you practice against AI. No judgement, no awkwardness, no fear of embarrassment. Just you, your thoughts, and a safe space to find your voice.

How does Teviot work?

Here is how a typical Teviot session works:

Practice your debating against AI and get instant feedback.

Feeling confident with AI? Soon you will be able to take on a real person.

New topics land daily so there is always something fresh to debate.

Who is behind Teviot?

Tom - Founder of Teviot

PhD Researcher in Natural Language Processing, University of Edinburgh

I started Teviot because I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I’ve always loved learning languages, but the traditional apps stopped being useful as I improved.

I wanted to keep up with what people were actually talking about in the cultures behind the language, while improving my writing through real conversations. I didn’t want to just answer grammar questions or go through standard situations like ordering at a café; I wanted to actually express my ideas.

At some point, those two things clicked. What if you could improve your language by talking about what matters in those cultures right now, with AI helping you get better as you go?

That is Teviot.
